Welcome to Kitty's 'Artist' section

about me and my family

Chances are that you wound up on this page because you were curious to know a little more about the person who created this artwork. Or perhaps you followed a link from my Blogger blog and were wondering if I am actually a real person and not some sort of half human cartoon basement dweller…..umm, whatever the case, you are here now. I am a wildlife & pet portrait artist and this section was created to tell you a little more about myself, my family, and how I got my start as an artist.

Where I live

I am currently living in Auburn, California USA. However, I am in the transition process right now of moving all the way across the country to New Hampshire. Once settled there I will come back to this section and add a few more details as to my surroundings.

My Family and Origin

Wildlife & Pet Portrait Artist

"Hi."

I am living in a large two story home with my family which consists of my husband, his parents, and Sasha, our little chihuahua. My Mom, who I go to visit every other weekend, lives about a half hour drive from here in Sacramento. I have one sister and a nephew who also live in Sacramento.

My Interests

First on my list of interest would have to be exploring new places and things. I am an extreemely curious person. That's not to say that i am strange as a human being but rather one who has a hightened interest in new things. In school I loved chemistry, biology, physics (and yes, some types of math). Now I enjoy painting/drawing, spending time with my husband, Seth, photography, hide and go seek, tag, ...hide and go seek tag, reading, writing, web design, people watching, chasing squirrels, putting myself in small cramped spaces to freak out my husband when he accidentally finds me, dancing by myself when no one is watching (because I am not a very good dancer,) laughing really ridiculously hard, dinosaur kung fu (especially the raptor and teradactyl poses), studying, going for long walks (not necessarily the romantic kind, more like the kind you and your dog take), playing Scrabble, hiking, not being hot, 75 degrees, doing things no one else has ever done before.
