This dog acrylic portrait was painted of Sasha, aka "little beakies". This was a gift for my mother-in-law for her birthday one year. Sasha is another long-time member of our family ( 14 years ) and now the last serviving of all our former pets. Sasha is a deer-headed chihuahua that was rescued from a shelter around 6months to one year of age after having survived an abusive situation involving former owner(s).
