This cat acrylic portrait was one of a series of portraits done of my husbands pets. Kitter Cater came to the King family on her own one random day, showing up at the house and refusing to leave in spite of the "pack" of roudy dogs already residing there. No one knows exactly how old Kitter Cater was when she showed up but she remained a member of the family for the next 13 years. Sadly, she was put to sleep about a year ago due to complications related to old age. In this portrait Kitter Cater is sitting in her favorite spot by the window where she always used to warm herself in the sunlight. The pet portrait is in size 12x18 in and was painted in year 2010. Kitter Cater you were greatly loved and will be missed.
